About Sarah Peyton
I am a daughter, sister, mother and friend. We currently reside in Birmingham, Alabama. I live with Reed, our son Lennon and our puppy Aussie. We love going on walks, taking photos with our film cameras, & watching movies! I feel most alive in the early mornings, up high in the mountain house, summer evenings when it is still light out, the sun warm on my skin, listening to music in the car and spending time with my family. I am pretty comfortable behind my camera it is just second nature to me! I am so thankful to be able to chase my passion and hold it as my livelihood. It brings me joy to document your lives and hear so many different stories.
I have lived in Birmingham my whole life so I know it like the back of my hand when it comes to helping you plan your dream session in Birmingham! I think its important to trust and know your photographer well. I want to be friends!!!
Get to know me…
-Coffee. I cant go a day without it.
-I am a huge introvert- but I also cant be cooped up in the house for too long. I still enjoy my people, community and having friendships. Coffee dates ^ are my favorite!!!!!
-Pastries, pasties, pastries + homemade bread yum.
-I am very uneasy about having my own photos taken- so trust me I understand if you are nervous about your session but don’t be!! I am right by your side and here to ease those beforehand nerves!! I want our time together to be fun so dont sweat it!
-I love Mexican food!!! Give me all the chips & queso!
-My dream location or destination wedding is in Europe! So if you want to get married there I will quickly order a ticket.
-I love working in local cafes or coffee shops.
-In my free time I repurpose old clothes (Washed Roots on Instagram)
